The Mighty Tanana

There once was a pair of Spaletas
Did they like to canoe - you betcha!
The temps were forty and low
The wind it did blow
and the mud it sucked as it gotcha.
From fair Fairbanks down to Nenana
On the great mighty river Tanana
the men picked islands to pee
where there was nary a tree
and poor Karen swore that she wouldna
Dr. Jeffrey the great urbanite
unloaded their gear onto lumps of granite
but on closer inspection
it was moose defecation
